Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council demanding that Iraq implement international resolutions in favor of Kuwait

Students and foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council Iraq to complete the implementation of international resolutions issued in favor of Kuwait, as confirmed that the Council shows its commitment to full Iraqi sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, called the Iraqi parties to make efforts to achieve political reconciliation lasting, comprehensive and state-building based on the rule of law and respect for human rights in order to Iraq's re-role.

The demand came the foreign ministers of the GCC Ministerial Council meeting in session in the 122 which was hosted by Riyadh and ended on Sunday night.

The Ministers stressed the need for Iraq to complete the implementation of all UN Security Council resolutions relevant, including the completion of the issue of maintenance of border markers in implementation of resolution 833 and the completion of the issue of compensation of Iraqi farmers in implementation of resolution 899.

The Ministers called on Iraq to speed up the recognition of the remaining prisoners and missing persons from the citizens of the State of Kuwait and the other citizens of other countries and the return of property and the National Archives of the State of Kuwait, urging the United Nations and other bodies relevant to continue in its efforts to end these commitments.

The foreign ministers of the Gulf states that the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council confirming its commitment to full Iraqi sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, and his quest to activate its role in building bridges of trust with neighboring countries on the basis of the principles of good neighborliness and non-interference in internal affairs.

He also called on Ministers of all parties in Iraq to efforts to achieve political reconciliation lasting and comprehensive to meet the aspirations of the Iraqi people, and build a secure and stable based on the rule of law and respect for human rights in order to re-Iraq role supportive of Arab causes, according to a final statement for the meeting of Ministers.
