Lending Troika Arrives in Athens
Representatives of the European Union, the European Central Bank, and the International Monetary Fund are visiting Athens today to assess the Greek government's progress (DeutscheWelle) in implementing mandatory budgetary reforms, amid mounting fears over a disorderly Greek default.
Technical teams representing the European Union, the European Central Bank (ECB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) arrive in Athens on Tuesday to prepare for talks on a second bailout for Greece, as the country comes under greater pressure to reduce its deficit and revive its economy.
The EU, European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund are due to arrive in Athens on Tuesday to check Greece's progress on structural reforms. Financial experts want to see big changes in the labor market.
