Barzani called on the United Nations to play a "neutral" to make the Conference a political parties of the national expanded

Erbil, Search President of Kurdistan region Massoud Barzani, Saladin resort, with Martin Kobler representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in the Iraq crisis and political developments in the political process and problems existing between the State law and the Iraqi list, calling on the United Nations should play an effective role as a neutral party to make the Conference the national expanded which will include all political parties and the parties.


According to a statement by the Presidency of the territory received (News News Agency) on Wednesday: the two sides exchanged views on political developments and the current crisis in the political process and problems existing between the State law and the Iraqi list, how to contain the crisis.

Added: President Barzani display view in detail on the current situation in Iraq, he stressed that seating political forces to dialogue table will enable access to address the crisis in the political process, he considered it necessary to convene a national conference involving all parties and expanded political parties with a view to addressing the problems relating to the provision and management of the country and the outstanding problems between the Federal Government and the territorial Government.

President Barzani: he should rely on the Permanent Constitution of Iraq to resolve all problems, but at the same time that a national conference requires well prepared to achieve success in all respects and to rid Iraq of the crisis, calling on the United Nations to play an effective role as a neutral party to make the Conference.

For his part, the representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations welcomed the vision and the views of President Barzani, expressed appreciation of the efforts to contain this crisis.
