"Mecca Document" interface back to Iraq and efforts to be activated for an enlarged .

The Organization of Islamic cooperation, on Wednesday, its intention to visit Baghdad on Sunday carrying a letter from the Secretary-General of the Organization to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, and consultations with Iraqi officials on the latest developments in the country and the possibility of holding an extended conference over to activate the document "Mecca".

The document includes Mecca that took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia 2006, most notably the prohibition of ten points of Iraqi blood and the rejection of sectarianism and the cessation of violence in all its forms and the distribution of wealth to the Iraqis in achieving social justice.

The Organization of Islamic cooperation in a statement seen by "Twilight News" "The next Sunday will see the direct high-level delegation from the Organization of Islamic cooperation to Baghdad with a message from Secretary-General Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, the Prime Minister of Iraq."

It showed the organization "will be during the visit, consultation on the arrangements for holding a second conference in Baghdad, like the Mecca in 2006, which it signed a historic document, known as the Mecca Document, which calls for national reconciliation in Iraq and the prohibition of shedding blood and non-sectarian and a cessation of violence in all its forms" .

The Organization of Iraq, which includes in its membership that it "will be discussed with Iraqi officials to form a preparatory committee to prepare for the conference to take place."

She added that "the delegation will hold consultations with Iraqi officials on the latest developments in Iraq and the role that can be played by the organization at this important stage for the start of Iraq towards political stability and economic development."

The agency noted in the context of her remark that the delegation would talk about "activating the terms of a memorandum of understanding signed between the Organization of Islamic cooperation and its different bodies and the Iraqi side during the visit of the Secretary General to Baghdad in 2009."

It is noteworthy that during the visit of the Secretary-General of the Organization to Baghdad in 2009, both sides agreed on the need to work on a broad conference in Baghdad to activate the document Mecca.

Support was expressed that the decision of the Conference of Foreign Ministers of Islamic Cooperation, held in Astana's 2011 war on Iraq.
