Washington applied its own sanctions against banks dealing with Iran as of June next
The United States announced Monday that the new U.S. sanctions against banks that deal with Iran's central bank to buy the oil will enter into force at the end of June next.
According to the U.S. Treasury Department said in a statement that the law stipulates that the U.S. government will adopt sanctions against foreign financial institutions that own or are found to be intentionally facilitate the task of financial transaction with the Central Bank for the purchase of Iranian oil or oil products from Iran.
