IMF to Co-Host High-Level Conference on China-India
The International Monetary Fund, the China Society for Finance and Banking, and the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER) will hold a high-level conference on “China and India—Sustaining High Quality Growth” in New Delhi, India, on March 19–20, 2012.
The two-day conference will bring together policy makers, leading academics, and private sector representatives and provide an opportunity to discuss the growth successes of China and India, Asia’s engines of growth.
IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde will participate in the closing roundtable discussion. The conference will be opened by India’s Finance Minister Hon. Pranab Mukherjee, with keynote remarks from the India and China delegations
