Iraq recognized Kuwait's property seized in 1990
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, Thursday, delivered the State of Kuwait for its property seized by the former regime in 1990 in the Second Gulf War.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received "Twilight News" copy, "implementation of the resolutions of the Security Council and the relevant part of the efforts made by the State Department to close the file of Kuwaiti property seized by the former regime in 1990."
The statement added that "the delivery was attended by the Ambassador of Iraq in Kuwait, Ambassador Khalid Mohammad Moghames circuit manager follow-up and Coordination, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait as well as representatives of the Central Bank of Kuwait and the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information and the representative of the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations Office of the State of Kuwait."
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry has handed over, in the middle of this month, Kuwait's central bank coins Kuwaiti paper and metal sheets and the keys to Qasat belonging to the Central Bank of Kuwait, as delivered at the same time 15 bar Micro film archive newspaper Kuwait News Agency at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait.
