Urgent .. Barzani announced the formation of a unified military force and the Organization of Kurdistan Region
President of the Kurdistan Region, Massoud Barzani, on Sunday, the formation of a unified military force on behalf of the Kurdistan Region is far from partisan trends, stressing the need for the agreement of all the forces and the Kurdish parties to identify a special day to "پeshmrگh" Kurdistan.

Barzani stressed "the importance of the role of Alپeshmrگh and the struggle waged in order to achieve the national rights of the Kurdish people," calling on everyone to "Choose a day befitting the status of Alپeshmrگh in the region, away from narrow partisan orientations."
Barzani said "You must specify a day of پeshmrگh away from party affiliation," stressing that "the days agreed upon by all parties to be a day of پeshmrگh in the region."
And on the current Iraqi political crisis Barzani said that "the phase of the dictatorship ended forever and no one can judge the Iraqi people a dictatorial regime."
Barzani said "We are in constant dialogue with President Jalal Talabani to find appropriate solutions to get Iraq out of its current crisis," stressing that "in the interest of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region."
