May 2012 OverviewMay is universally a ONE month, which opens the door to change, breakthrough and freedom, the very purpose of 2012. The months leading up to May are those that have provided various aspects and events setting up the changes to help to break open the options and opportunities that will then continue to emerge all year long. The month of May becomes the hallmark of new beginnings as the scenery changes, the terrain shifts; the environment unfolds new opportunities as the ultimate breakthrough provides freedom from the past.
May has several aspects that bring forward the new stage of events and with it a new purpose. The Solar Eclipse on May 20th in the early degrees of Gemini becomes the movements that emphasize the changes that are emerging. The empowering New Moon beckons these and more changes that present continual options that take us away from the past situations that have kept us encumbered. These new beginnings open many doors with each providing options and opportunities. The Solar Eclipse in Gemini heralds in the official announcement of change and adjustment to many situations. Venus retrogrades back from 23 Gemini to 7 Gemini making the adjustments and resolutions to the current situations, environment and issues. This combination brings forward many dynamic events that give us a new sense of self, passion and purpose. The ONE month of May reveals the new phase of our spiritual journey as events show us the new world that is now the terrain we walk.
April 29th through May 5th
This week, April 29th through May 5th, we begin the journey to move out of the old environment and into the realm of change, breakthrough and freedom. Many situations will be releasing us from the grips of the past and our way forward will become a reality. Moving toward the new environment, circumstances and reality, we have the changes that need to break us free from the past, with many of the circumstances going back to 2008 as the ONE year for this current NINE-year cycle. Tuesday, Moon connects with Mars, to usher in the new month of May, a ONE month. The New Beginnings become the jumpstart that is needed to shift our pace as we sail out into the open ocean. Finally ready to have the opportunity to move forward unencumbered and full of passion, purpose and inspiration. Friday as Moon connects with Saturn; we are reminded that we have the need to put our intuition to work, providing the guidance and inner direction. Saturday the Full Moon in Taurus/Scorpio brings many things onto our shore dealing with values, to make the choices about the new directions that are pulling us forward. Additionally, Mercury connects with Saturn to implement these decisions. These decisions stem from April 15th as Sun connected to Saturn to shine the light on the decisions that we need to make. The time of movement for these decisions into reality is on May 5th as Sun shines the light onto the purpose and perfect timing for these decisions to unfold.
May 6th through May 12th
This week, May 6th through May 12th, begins with the back drop from last week's events. The important phase as the heightened feelings from the Full Moon are brought into the stepping stones of events that are moving us forward. We see that it is time to lift our head to view the horizon to see the right path that will take us into our new direction. Determining our plans, goals and aspirations for this new phase of our journey becomes paramount. Mercury moves into Taurus early Wednesday giving us the chance to organize and set a new course of action with our revised purpose and goals in mind. The adjustments that are happening are geared toward setting new agreements into place that are more appropriate for our revised plans. New contracts, pacts, treaties and agreements will begin to be written to formalize the revised directions, allowing us to move forward with freedom from the past. Meetings on Friday will complete this process as we shake hands with the past and move forward unencumbered.
May 13th through May 19th
This week, May 13th through May 19th, gives us the aspect that we have been waiting since last June (2011) to bring forward. The Sun connects with Jupiter at 23 Taurus. With each one-year cycle of Jupiter, the Sun finally connects with Jupiter at the tail end of this process. Similar to working many months before getting paid, we are feeling as though we have worked diligently toward our purpose, but the rewards are finally formulating Jupiter has been expanding, redirecting and prodding us to move into these new directions since that time. We have had to wait for many aspects to line up before we could move forward, or wait for situations to line up before positive results occured. Sun shines the light onto the pathway that is now available to us as we cross over to the other side of the summit to see the new environment that is calling us. Additionally, Mercury trines Mars, which is a very positive aspect, as Mercury�s information lines up with action-oriented Mars. New information brings opportunities into our life that activates our new direction. We can finally move forward in the ways we have envisioned. Venus turns retrograde on Tuesday as the harmonizing and resolving energy of Venus can go back over many events and circumstances to bring resolutions and healing to elements within our life that were not working. Many of the situations go back to April 12th in which we wanted to move forward, but for one reason or another we could not. Now that forward motion has occurred, Venus helps to go back over these issues and times to bring resolution and healing. We end the week with a positive and beautiful night sky of Moon cradling Mercury, which symbolizes our emotional acceptance and understanding of the changes. The aspect also provides us with movement forward out of the past and into our future.
May 20th through May 26th
This week, May 20th through May 26th, begins as the powerful Solar Eclipse provides the fireworks of the shifting energies. Sun moves into Gemini and ignites the atmosphere with a breath of fresh air as the magic of the Solar Eclipse begins. This solar eclipse becomes the symbol of new beginnings. We have finally moved beyond the past and are now sailing in the open ocean. The Gemini winds billow our sails as we fly across the waters past the old situations, circumstances and barriers. We are expanding into our new environment through the changes of this month. Freedom is our attitude, mode of transportation and destination. We will feel that we have wrapped up many, many years of situations that kept us encumbered and tangled up in situations that are now complete. Finally moving forward, we have the Solar Eclipse to set our new pace. Monday Mercury connects with Jupiter, which becomes the first day of our freedom in which we have the information needed to move forward as the right directions open their doors to us. This information will also date back to May 13th when Jupiter connected to Sun. Now with Jupiter connecting to Mercury, we have the information needed to move into freedom. Thursday additional information comes streaming in as Mercury shifts into Gemini, opening the floodgates. Riding the waves of freedom with the sunlight of new beginnings we begin to feel the surge of energy that is dissolving the challenges and situations of the past. Mercury shares the important information with Venus retrograde, bringing forth healing and resolutions.
May 27th through June 2nd
This week, May 27th through June 2nd we begin the journey riding the waves of freedom, Sun connects with Mercury at 6 Gemini, bringing forward the new directions that have been evolving all during the month of May. Sun shines the light onto the communication that is in front of us and we make a commitment. Often this becomes the actual event of signing on the dotted line. The location of this connection is in the communication oriented sign of Gemini, bringing in new information that billows our sails to fly across the open ocean into our new direction. Monday as Moon connects with Mars, we will begin to feel the freedom from the past and the bright opportunities that are pulling us into new territory. Mid-week we shift gears to connect with people that are a part of our new direction. We have the chance to see the new options in a positive light as people in our new environment help to make us feel like we are finally in the right place or at least moving forward into the right location. Friday the month of June greets us. June is universally a TWO month that also has the influence of the higher octave from the ELEVEN. ELEVEN is a master number that brings people, relationships and spiritual connections onto our stage. The natural evolution from the midweek connection becomes a stronger influence as we roll into June. Friday brings Mercury to connect with Venus retrograde at 17 Gemini, which brings new information forward that requires that we open the door for resolutions, negotiations, and cooperative communications to set the pace in June. The resolutions began to be a focus when Venus turned retrograde, which occurred on may 15th. From that time our focus on resolutions and harmony has created tasks with a specific purpose. Between the Solar Eclipse of May and the Lunar Eclipse of June, we have the events providing a very action-packed week.
