Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood to Demonstrate Against Military

Members of the Muslim Brotherhood are set to protest across Egypt today over new powers claimed by the ruling military council (BBC), as the Brotherhood candidate Mohamed Morsi claimed victory in this past weekend's presidential runoff.

Regardless of the outcome of the presidential runoff elections, the Egyptian military is seeking to assert control to protect its privileges, says CFR's Steven A. Cook in this CFR Interview.
