Nassif: U.S. Administration on arming the army with heavy weapons within the strategic framework agreement
Demanded the MP for the Iraqi bloc of free high Nassif U.S. administration of arming the Iraqi army and Iraqi military capacity building in line with the Strategic Framework Agreement.
Said Nassif, according to a statement on Wednesday: "Although the strategic framework agreement showed keen parties to continue to cooperate on security arrangements to enhance the ability of Iraq to deter threats against its sovereignty and security, but we so far have not touched any U.S. efforts in this area on the ground reality. "
It added that the duty of the administration today to fulfill its obligations towards Iraq with regard to arming the Iraqi army with heavy weapons, including the aircraft [F - 16], instead of confining reinforcement on the light and medium weapons.
Nassif explained that the implementation of these commitments will atone for what America from the mistakes committed by Iraq, including the right to disband the Iraqi army and the elimination of its military capacity in full.
