Legal representative: The political conflict in the House of Representatives and the behind the delay in approving the most important laws
Baghdad, Parliamentary Legal Committee confirmed that the conflict of the political blocs in the House of Representatives and the behind the delay in approving the most important laws.
A member of the Legal Committee and the representative of the mass citizen Hassoun Fatlawi in an interview with the correspondent of news agency the future on Sunday that "the Legal Committee of a number of important laws ready to be put forward and debate in the corridors of the House of Representatives, but the political differences and lack of agreement of the political blocs which prevents approval," adding that among these laws illegal oil and gas, and the Federal Court.
Fatlawi said that the continued controversy over these laws will affect negatively on the institutions concerned by the fact that most of its work is still disabled because of a failure to approve laws.
The law of the Federal Court and the Supreme Judicial Council has been incorporated in recent sessions of the Council of Representatives to vote on them, but they term to another hearing because of political differences.
