The Foreign Ministry said that its minister, Hoshyar Zebari, received a promise from French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, a solution to the problem of Iraqi funds frozen in France.
The ministry said in a statement Friday that Minister Zebari discussed with the French minister in Paris, bilateral relations and the political and security situation in Iraq and future prospects.
And the statement that the two sides stressed the depth and history of relations between the two countries and the need to develop in all fields, especially the economic side and to encourage French companies to participate in reconstruction projects in Iraq.
The statement emphasized that the minister promised to the French Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, a solution to the problem of Iraqi funds frozen in France, in the face of an invitation to Zebari to visit Iraq Fabius Vtqublha expressed delight that and looked forward to that visit.
