Beijing calls for Washington to stop harming their interests
Beijing demanded on Wednesday the United States back on its decision to impose sanctions on Chinese Kunlun Bank, accused by Washington to deal with Iranian entities linked to Tehran's nuclear program.
Announced Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement that China urges U.S. to lift its sanctions on the bank Kunlun and stop the damage to the interests of China and Sino-US relations.
Included U.S. sanctions imposed on Iran, China and the Kunlun bank of the Iraqi Islamic Elaph accused of facilitating transactions worth millions of dollars by Iranian banks are subject to sanctions because of its connection with Iran's (nuclear) is not legitimate.
