Baghdad, A source at the Ministry of Finance said that the Ministers of Finance and Planning will hold a news conference on Wednesday, about the federal budget for 2012.
The source (of the Agency news) said on Tuesday .. that ..The two ministers Issawi and Shukri will hold a conference press Ciodhan where everything related to the budget of the Federal, and directions of the government on the budget.
The source pointed out: that the purpose of the conference to clarify and reveal the problems occurring on the budget, and the impact of delays on projects that the government wants to speed up implementation.

The Group of 20 economies are working toward a possible deal on boosting IMF funding in an effort to curb the European debt crisis. The United States is currently insisting Europe raise its own crisis shield further before the IMF pledges any additional funds.
Among the G20 members are Brazil, China, Japan, Russia, Turkey, France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union.

Geithner Should Testify In JPMorgan Suit, Lehman Says
U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner should be ordered to give a deposition in Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc.'s lawsuit against JPMorgan Chase & Co., which alleged the bank siphoned $8.6 billion out of Lehman in the 2008 credit crisis, helping to cause its collapse, the defunct firm and its creditors said.
Lehman has a March 16 deadline for completing its fact finding in the case, after interviewing more than 200 witnesses, creditors said in a filing in U.S. District Court in Washington.

The HSBC Group recently released a trading outlook report by the trade within the Asia-Pacific region and emerging markets, large demand for Asian exports, China will replace the U.S. in 2016 to become the world's largest trading nation.
The HSBC Group HSBC Global Connection Trade Outlook is expected in the next five years, the annual growth rate of China's trade (6.61%) will be twice the global average (3.78%).
The report analyzes China's growth was mainly domestic trade from the Asia-Pacific region and Latin America, Middle East and North Africa region "South-South trade, especially commodities and raw materials (Commodities) and automotive industries.

He attributed the financial expert Crescent miller delay in approving the budget for the current year to the current political tensions in the country.
He said the miller's (long): The political disputes taking place in the country at the present time delayed approving the budget in the House of Representatives, pointing out that Article 75 of the Constitution provides for the legitimacy of the members of the House of Representatives to enjoy any vacation before approving the budget of public finances.

FX EUR/USD: Closes a bit lower as key resistance remains intact
The EUR/USD opens the Asian session a few pips below where it opened yesterday, as the reaction to the Greek bailout deal was fairly muted. The market was expecting the EU finance ministers to scramble together a deal in time for Greece to avoid a messy default - so it is not surprising to see that key resistance above 1.3300 held on the day. The 100-day MA comes in at 1.3308 while the Feb 9 trend high comes in right behind at 1.3322.
Only a break above 1.3325 would suggest there are significant gains in store for the EUR/USD.
The EUR/USD will likely consolidate between 1.3150/1.3300 ahead of Friday"s G20 meeting. Some analysts feel the EUR/USD might break higher if a few G7 countries such as China and Japan commit to boosting the Eurozone firewall through IMF contributions.
The EUR/USD trades 1.3236/41.

By analyzing boulders that toppled from a Martian cliff, some of which left trails in the coarse-grained soils, and comparing the patterns of dislodged rocks to such patterns caused by quakes on Earth, the scientists determined the rocks fell because of seismic activity.
Gerald Roberts, an earthquake geologist with Birkbeck, an institution of the University of London, who led the study, said that the images of Mars included boulders that ranged from two to 20 meters (6.5 to 65 feet) in diameter, which had fallen in avalanches from cliffs.

It would appear, Mr. Stone, that your investigative work is gaining some traction on the Net (below… and your letter to Mr. Rense). It is becoming more difficult to dismiss your comments. Your photos and supplemental information are looking more like a strong testament to the high level of technical care that the Japanese exercised in reinforcing the Fukushima facility.
The camera bomb would have been much more destructive if the Japanese had constructed a weak facility. It looks like they did their homework and they knew what they were doing.
But what happens when the Japanese people begin to understand that the tsunami bomb and the Fukushima camera bomb were party favors supplied by the Mossad? There would have to be some serious blow back from that somewhere down the line.
And the Japanese have no constraints with respect to schedules, deadlines or performance review dates. They can bide their time and return responses to the Israeli party favors whenever they please.

Mexico Pushes to Join Pacific Talks
Mexico is speeding up efforts to join an Asia-Pacific trade pact that it believes could add $180 billion in value to the country's exports, said Bruno Ferrari, the economy secretary.
By joining the Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiations, which aim to eliminate all tariffs among member nations within 10 years, Mexico can build on its role as a bridge between Asia and U.S. trade, Mr. Ferrari said in an interview Monday.
"We are trying to move as fast as possible, we have a sense of urgency to be part of this," he said, adding the talks are going "very well."
"We do believe this is a new generation agreement, which will be very important for Mexico," he explained. "We can increase our exports in a very substantial way."
U.S. President Barack Obama is pushing the TPP policy as key to promoting U.S. exports. Originally signed in 2005, the TPP comprises the U.S., Australia, Brunei, Chile, Malaysia, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam. In addition to Mexico, Japan and Canada have expressed an interest in joining the talks; South Korea and China are also eventually expected to do likewise.
"We are acting like a bridge between the world's largest economy and Asia. Most of what we are importing from Asia is part of the supply that we will need to export to the U.S.," Mr. Ferrari said. The U.S. takes in around 80% of Mexico's exports.

Follow-up - and babysit - ended the House of Representatives in the Twenty-second session, held under the chairmanship of Osama al-Chairman of the Board of Representatives and the presence of [183] deputies today the first reading and the second of five draft laws and proposals, and decides to adjourn the meeting tomorrow, today.
A statement from the Department of Media House of Representatives that "at the beginning of the meeting initiated by any of the Holy Quran said Najafi to set next Thursday as the date for a vote on the budget bill, the federal financial public for the year 2012, pointing to continuing the Finance Committee work during this week to include all of the proposals in the draft law as well as the continuation of meetings of the Council approving the budget until next Thursday. "
Then followed the Committee of Culture and Information issued a statement on the occasion of International Day of Mother Languages in which indicated that "the Iraqi Constitution in its clauses within all ethnic groups the right to use their languages and recognition of the law calling for the organization of the official languages in Iraq."
The statement stressed "the need to adopt the Kurdish language is official in state institutions as well as Arabic language and the establishment of institutes for the development of languages as well as put information on the languages of Iraq in the curriculum and to invite the provinces, which consists of more than one component of national attention to the languages of those nationalities."

"The parliament did not vote yesterday on the budget of 2012 to complete the lack of observations on the project submitted by the Ministry of Finance, and therefore took the decision to postpone the recognition of the session next Thursday in order to provide greater opportunity for action by the discussions."
Regarding the increase in the dollar exchange rate in the Iraqi market, said Al-Fayez, "that our meeting yesterday the central bank, which stressed that the reason for this rise, lack of commitment by banks and shops banking regulations, and that he would make a decision on Wednesday against the violators of the orientations, which will return the market to its natural state" he continued, "that the price of the dollar at the moment of 1890 dinars, but with some fees that take the profitability of banks and up to 2000 dinars."

What will then likely happen is another delay until midnight, then later, then finally when Europe is sleeping a few finance ministers will say that the Deal is virtually done, the terms of the PSI are agreed upon (except that "some" creditors, those who have a blocking stake, will vote no and force the use of CACs and thus trigger a default before March 20) with the exception of a few minor outstanding items, such as whose debt is cut to bring total Debt/GDP to 120% by 2020, which they hope to get resolved shortly.
And so this latest and greatest meeting will come and go, and anyone who shorted the Belgian caterers will be broke when the market opens up tomorrow, when Belgian catering ETFs all go limit up.

US, Mexico agree to cooperate on energy
Mexico, The United States and Mexico agreed Monday to work together when drilling for oil and gas below their maritime border in the Gulf of Mexico.
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and Mexico's foreign minister signed the deal at a ceremony in the Mexican resort of Los Cabos as Mexican President Felipe Calderon and U.S. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar looked on.
The cooperation stems from an understanding that President Barack Obama and Calderon reached in 2010 to share in the profits and work together to avoid spills.
Clinton said the deal would "ensure safe, efficient, responsible exploration of the oil and gas reservoirs in the Gulf of Mexico."
"These reservoirs could hold considerable reserves that would benefit the United States and Mexico alike," she said.

Baghdad, The process of removing three zeros from the Iraqi dinar and replacing current banknotes with new ones will begin in September, announced the economic committee of the Council of Representatives as part of an agreement with the Iraqi Central Bank (ICB).

Kabul, Afghanistan’s central bank is printing new currency notes worth one hundred billion afghanis ($203,087,000), a senior official announced on Sunday.
During an exclusive interview with Pajhwok Afghan News, Da Afghanistan Bank governor said the fresh bills would be released to the market by the end of the year.
Noorullah Dilawari said the decision, approved by the central bank’s executive council, was driven by the country’s cash requirements. Notes of 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1,000 afs denominations are being issued.

China should use its own currency to pay for oil imports from the Middle East, Central Asia and Russia to boost the yuan's global role and challenge the dollar's dominance, a top Chinese commercial bank executive said in comments published on Monday.
"If the yuan can be recognized by these oil producing countries and become one of the major oil pricing and settlement currencies along with rouble and others, it can greatly enhance the yuan's status," Cao Tong, senior vice president at CITIC Bank (601988.SS)(0998.HK), said in comments published in Financial News, a newspaper run by China's central bank.
"It will be the second battleground for the yuan to go global," Cao said, noting that trade within Southeast Asia is the first.
